I had booked a cab at 9:30pm on 11th May by calling the FabCabs number  0172 4242424  . The car number was CH02 A -0420  . The driver 'Sunil Mehra' with cell 8725001420 reached on time. I had to go at a far off place about 30kilometeres, but I sensed that the driver was being extra smart seeing me alone (girl) at such an odd time. So I asked him to drop me at a nearby friend's place so that I would not had to travel in deserted areas. At the drop-up location, he very cunningly took out all my money from my wallet. I discovered it when I reached out my wallet to pay the fare. On checking his wallet, all the same demonination notes were found with him. But he denied that he stole. I seized all the money from him and threatened him that I would call the police. After strange dramas by him, he finally drove off when I reacted very strongly. I called up at the taxi booking center to lodge the complaint against this person. The person at the receiving end took it very casually and unheard my complaint as if he were an accomplice to the theft. I never thought Radio taxi in Chandigarh could be that unsafe.
